Pastor Dr. Derek Parker
Pastor, Revival Center COGIC · Public Safety Chaplain, Madison Co., AL · National Adjutant, COGIC
Pastor Derek Casell Parker was born May 2, 1968, in Holland, VA. He graduated from Forest Glen High School in Suffolk, VA in 1986 and continued his education after joining the United States Armed Forces. Pastor Parker retired in March 2007 after serving over 20 years in the U.S. Army. He received his Doctorate Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Human Resources and has received a Diploma in theology from Paul S. Morton Bible College and School of Ministry.
Pastor Parker received his calling into the ministry at an early age but did not begin his ministry to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ until 1995, following the call upon his death bed. He acknowledged the call and was ordained as an Elder in 1998. Pastor Parker served as Pastor for Free Gospel Church in Bamberg, Germany, and The Upper Room Church of God in Christ, in Suwon, Korea. He was also Tribal Leader, Youth Pastor, and Church Administrator at Sweet Haven Holy Church of God, in Black River, NY.
Pastor Parker has many accomplishments as a Soldier in the Army of the Lord, and he has taught many Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and Ministerial Classes such as Church Etiquette, Church Business, Baptism, and Communion. He has held many positions in the church such as Pastor, Youth Pastor for over one hundred youths ranging from ages 2 – 21, Sunday School Superintendent, Church Administrator and Assistant Pastor.
He now serves as the Pastor of Revival Center Church of God in Christ in Florence, AL, Public Safety Chaplain for Madison Co., AL, and a National Adjutant for the Church of God in Christ, INC.
In the presence of his many accomplishments, Pastor Parker is a devoted husband to Evangelist Ushell Parker and has two sons Dallis Davis and Adrian Carter and two grandsons Marley Carter and Dallis Davis Jr. He believes whole heartily that “You can’t teach what you don’t know, and you can’t lead where you won’t go.” His desire is to Love God and Love people. Pastor Parker remains humble and respectful. He embraces Nehemiah 8:10, the joy of the Lord is your strength!

Evangelist Ushell Parker

Evangelist Ushell Parker is a native of the Tidewater VA area and currently resides in Huntsville, AL. Evangelist Parker is married to the love of her life for over 30 years, Pastor Derek Parker. She received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. As a young child, she knew God required more of her, as she would line up the wooden kitchen chairs at her grandparents’ house to preach and play church. Having acknowledged the call that was upon her life led her to ministry in July 2000.
Evangelist Parker’s life assignment is to advance God’s kingdom and empower His people to take the next faithful step. She realizes that obedience to His will is better, and that her life is a model to guide others to Him. She believes that “The Master Touch” is on each of us. Her aim is to please God as she serves Him through sowing the seed of God’s word in the hearts of all people, bestowing love, and guidance to all that she encounters.
Evangelist Parker faithfully renders her gifts for service unto Jesus Christ and His church through ministry. She serves as First Lady of Revival Center COGIC, Florence, AL and accepted the responsibility and all its challenges simply believing God never demands what He will not supply. Evangelist Parker has ministered in a wide array of ministry settings to include women’s conferences, workshops, prayer breakfasts, etc.
Evangelist Parker’s favorite motto is to “Love God and Love His People.” God has worked miraculously in her life and to Him she gives all honor, praise, and glory, for all the wonderful things He has done! She believes and stands on one of her favorite scriptures, Acts 17:28 For in HIM we live, and move and have our being, as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring!
